Where the car sits changes the pickup
Tell us on the call, because it decides which truck and how long the job takes:
- On the street. Usually the easiest load. Hammond’s streets follow a grid much like Chicago’s, and Whiting, Munster and Highland use Hammond’s house numbering, so a house number and street are all we need.
- In a driveway. Fine, as long as another car isn’t parked in front of it.
- In a garage or backyard. Doable, but tell us about narrow gates, soft ground, or a car that won’t roll.
- In a parking lot. Let us know if the lot has rules about towing or access times.
- Flat tires, no wheels, or locked steering. All worth mentioning up front.

Can you pick up today?
Same-day pickup is often possible. It depends on where the car is and when you send the details, so the sooner you send them, the better the chance.
Do I have to be there?
Plan to be there, or tell us on the call who will be. Payment happens at pickup, and whoever releases the car needs the title or the other paperwork.
Do you pick up outside the towns you list?
No. Our pickup area stops at Gary and the towns that touch it. Porter County, LaPorte County and south Lake County are all outside it.
